3 Virginia Plan Three separate branches. Bicameral legislative branch.
Government could interfere with State laws. Executive branch and judicial branch could veto acts. States would support the Union.

4 New Jersey Plan Unicameral legislative branch equally represented.
Government could tax. More than one chief executive.

5 Compromise Connecticut Compromise- Created a Senate equally represented and a House of Representatives represented according to State population. Three-Fifths Compromise- Each slave would count as 3/5 for population purposes. Commerce and Slave Trade Compromise- Couldn’t tax exports or stop slave trade.
