2 Why are we studying this?
This project will help us to understand - what “sustainable” means - how Art can be sustainable We will learn how to - design in 3D - create a 3D structure using sticks/ rods - create paper rods

What can you see? Shapes? Colours? Form? Explain what you like: I like… because…

4 Design a structure Using sticks and blue tack
Things to remember… Triangles and pyramids are the strongest structures Work together- be kind, be patient, listen, communicate Don’t break the sticks Take a photo of your structure because the sticks and blue tack will now be used again.

5 Create a sculpture Using Newspaper rods
Things to remember… Look at the photos of your design Triangles and pyramids are the strongest structures Work together- be kind, be patient, listen, communicate Use only newspaper a small amount of gum-strip
