AN ACT TO RESTORE AND PRESERVE FREE SPEECH ON THE CAMPUSES OF THE CONSTITUENT INSTITUTIONS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA
Adopted in Requires the Board of Governors of the UNC System to develop and adopt a policy on free expression that state the function and role of each constituent institution as it relates to free speech. It also requires each institution to provide access to campus for the purpose of free speech and free expression consistent with the First Amendment. It also discusses the implementation of disciplinary sanctions for those who substantially interfer with the protected free speech rights of others.
