What to bring Sunscreen (sunscreen application waiver)
Insect Repellant Tennis Shoes Swimming Suit and Towel (needed on pool days) Water Bottle/Drinks (vending machines are not available) Snacks (optional) *We will provide two snacks daily. *PLEASE LABEL PERSONAL ITEMS WITH NAME/INITIALS*

What Not to Bring Weapons (real or fake)
Electronic devices (e.g., phone, ipod, ipad) Pets Drugs/Unapproved medication Homemade snacks to share Fireworks Gum Sentimental Toys Money (except for field trips)

What is the drop off policy?
You can drop off your camper as early as 7:30 AM and as late as 8:30 AM. If you drop off your child prior to 7:30 AM, they will be unsupervised. You must come inside the Farmville Middle School to sign your camper in every morning. Curb-side drop off is not available

Pick Up Policy The latest time you may pick up your camper is 6:00 PM.
Be prepared to show your identification when picking up your camper. Campers may only be picked up by individuals approved and stated in writing by YOU. You must come inside the community center in order to sign out your camper every afternoon. Late pick up policy: $10 will be charged every 15 minutes, or portion thereof, that the parent is late.

What to Wear Campers should wear cool, comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Campers should not wear: - Sandals or flip-flops - Two piece bathing suits - Revealing clothing - Clothing that has references to drugs, alcohol, or tobacco - Excessively loose clothing

What’s cooking, Doc? You have the option to pack your child a lunch everyday if you wish. (No microwave or refrigerator will be available for camper use) Farmville Summer Adventure Camp will be participating in the Pitt County Schools Summer Feeding Program. Lunch will be provided for campers on a daily basis. We will provide two snacks a day, but you are still welcome to pack your own if you wish.

Field Trips Your camper must be dropped off before the bus leaves! (times are specified on field trip fliers) If the bus has already left, it will be your responsibility to take the camper to the field trip site. You must sign your camper in with staff at the field trip location. Campers must wear their camp t-shirts on all field trips! Your weekly registration cost covers all admission fees! Campers may bring money for field trips for arcades/gift shops. Farmville Parks and Recreation is not responsible for lost or stolen money/items. Field Trip fliers will be sent out AND posted on the website two days prior to a field trip!

Pool Trips We will be going swimming at the Greenville Community Pool from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on the following days: June 19th, 2019 June 28th, 2019 July 8th, 2019 July 16th, 2019 July 23rd, 2019 July 31st, 2019 Campers should wear an appropriate swim-suit to camp on these days and will need to bring a towel and a change of underwear.

Camp Schedules Schedules are finalized on the website ( and are also available in hardcopy! The average day-to-day schedule is available for pickup!

Medication at Camp If your camper must have medication at camp, please fill out a medical authorization form! Medication must be in its original prescription bottle, clearly labeled. Only one weeks worth of medication will be accepted. Over the counter medicine will be provided by the Farmville Recreation Department (i.e., Ibuprofen, Tylenol, Benadryl).

Illness/sickness Your child should remain home from camp if they have any of the following: Low fever (99.9 degrees or higher) Diarrhea or vomiting Sore throat Contagious rash or other condition (e.g., chicken pox, pink eye, ring worm, lice) Please allow your child to be symptom free (i.e., no fever, coughing, rash) for at least 24 hours before returning to camp.
