Paul doesn’t condemn all judging, but hypocritical judging
Hypocritical judges are not spiritually self-aware
The Jews were God’s ‘favourites’
God gave THEM the Law, not the gentiles
‘That’s why gentiles are so immoral’
The Jews aren’t as bad as them, so they can judge them
It produces a ‘holier than thou’ mentality
You lose sight of your own faults and failings
