The person through whose eyes the reader sees the action of the story

Omniscient-all knowing The author acts as the narrator telling the reader the character’s thoughts and backgrounds First Person Uses a character within the story as narrator Third Person Limited Point of View The author acts as the narrator , but what he tells to what one person in the story can know or see

Irony-What is it? Irony=the contrast between what appears to be so and what really is

What are the types of Irony?
Irony of Statement=Sarcasm=when an author or speaker appears to be saying one thing but is really saying the opposite Real Life Example: Irony of Situation=when the outcome of a situation is opposite to what one would expect
