China Following WWI, there was unrest in China
Two leaders emerged: Jiang Jieshi (Chiang Kai-Shek-Guomingdang Nationalist and Mao Zedong-Communist) a civil war took place Mao led 100,000 Communist on a 6,000 mile walk (The Long March) to find a safe place for Chinese Communists. Only 8,000 survived but Communism was strengthened.

India 800,000 Indians served in WWI fighting for the British.
Upon returning home they found they did not gain new rights or independence for their service. A large crowd of peaceful demonstrators were attacked by British soldiers (400 died)= Amritsar Massacre
