Math: We will finish customary conversions this week. Test will be Thursday. They will do a practice test in class to review. They will be allowed to have their conversion booklet on their desk during the test.
Science: We are on Chapter 7 Ecosystems. They will have a project on ecosystems due on Tuesday, April 10th. Project guidelines will come home this week.
S.S. (BOTH CLASSES): Daigle HR is learning about Westward Expansion for the next few weeks. Please look at planners to see when tests will be and what to study.
Corales HR is learning about the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the branches of government .
10 Achieve articles must be completed for a Social Studies grade by Monday, April 9th after Easter Break.
Reading: We are continuing our novel “Cricket in Times Square”, reviewing all skills learned thus far. Our weekly tests will be increasing the number of passages to prepare them for LEAP test format. They will then use the passages to answer multiple choice questions as well as a writing prompt.
Writing: We will be continuing to write and research from texts read in class in order to prepare us for LEAP format.
Spelling: Spelling words will come from Unit 34 this week.
AR (Accelerated Reader) goals have been restarted for this 9 weeks. Students are required to earn 10 or more points by reading books of their choice from the library, home, etc. and taking/passing a test on the book when done. Students can always check online to find the value of any book they choose to read. This will be a reading grade at the end of the 9 weeks.

Remember Achieve articles are due upon arrival from Spring Break.
