I’ll take about 30 mins tops to give you some guiding tips on doing this and then you will go to your classes to receive your course selection sheet with the list of classes to choose from. 8. Credit History / OSSD Requirements
In order to graduate from high school and attend our Commencement Ceremony in June 2018 you must ensure you have met the following criteria:
Earned 30 credits
18 compulsory credits and
12 optional credits
Literacy Requirement
Passed the OSSLT test or
Earned the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course
Earned 40 hours of Community Involvement
These are the requirements to ensure you graduate from high school. You also need to ensure you meet the post secondary requirements.
REMINDER! SHSM /RISE students ensure all program requirements will be met, courses (core and co-op), CLA’s and certifications by the end of next year!

9. English Proficiency
If English is NOT your first language and/or you have NOT been in an English language school for high school you MAY need to complete an English Proficiency Test if applying to university!

19. Level One Accelerated OYAP Programs in Peel
Is for graduating Gr. 12 students in a 4 credit co-op placement who have applied, been interviewed and offered admission into Basic Level 1 apprenticeship training at a college or training centre.
The students have a co-op employer who agrees to sponsor them to become a registered apprentice before the program starts. (Some exceptions)
Accelerated OYAP students are experienced and eager to start their career in the skilled trades.
Community Hours and Literacy Grad requirements need to be completed in first semester.
