2 Fig 1 (A) The first Barrett’s-associated adenocarcinoma was composed of acinar arrangements of fairly uniform polygonal cells. (B) The second esophageal adenocarcinoma differed from the first in that the malignant cells were more polymorphic and had infiltrated the muscular wall in a diffuse fashion.
