Copyright Copyright is a law that gives you ownership over the things you create. It can be a painting, a photograph, a video, a song, a writing, etc., but if you created it, you own it, and the copyright law assures you that. The copyright law comes with the rights to: reproduce the work; prepare derivative works; perform the work; distribute copies; display the work publicly.

Optics in Film Optics is the branch of physics which involves the properties of light. The optical lighting used in films is a transparent plastic film with a precise prism structure on one side and a very smooth surface on the other side. This construction allows to be highly reflective at specific angles of incidence or almost transparent at other angles. It also allows light to be transported and distributed uniformly.

Lighting in Film Small lights - like bare bulbs and hard shadows.
It’s usually needed to soften them with a diffuser, or fill them - reduce the shadows - with another light or a reflector. Medium-sized lights - like the light from a window and a Chinese paper lantern. They are big enough to be soft and small enough to be atmospheric. The shadows help things look more three-dimensional.

Lighting in Film Big lights - the light reflected off a white wall gives very even lighting and soft shadows but doesn’t have much atmosphere. This kind of light is the easiest to use. It’s good for scenes with a lot of detail and group shots. Light from directly above tends to make people’s eyes disappear into shadow and light from directly in front is flat and even, but can dazzle people in the scene.

Screenplays A screenplay is a written work by screenwriters for a film or a television program. It can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. The major components are action and dialogue. The action is limited to what can be heard or seen by the audience, for example descriptions of character movements. The dialogue is the words the characters speak.
