I WILL…. Learn what I should be doing to get ready for graduation and after high school.

Ordering Cap and Gown If you have not already ordered your Cap and Gown for graduation be sure to do it ASAP. The later that you order your Cap and Gown the more expensive it gets. You can order your Cap and Gown online at: All new orders are to be placed online and all bills must be paid in full by April 7th If you have any questions or issues with your Cap and Gown order please speak with Mr. Langenmayr

FAFSA If you have not already completed your Federal Student Aid application please make sure to go to: fafsa.ed.gov and get is filled out ASAP. This is the application to be able to receive federal aid for college. This application will need to be completed every year that you are attending college. The new applications post each October to be filled out for the following school year.

Scholarship Bulletin The Scholarship bulletin is a great place to find local scholarship information. The Scholarship bulletin can be found on the school’s website under the College and career tab, as well as you student account. The bulletin is full of new scholarship information each month as well as a Senior Corner page that has pertinent information just for Seniors.

Applying to colleges Finish up your applications to the schools you are planning to attend. All of the applications are available online on the website of the schools you are planning to attend. If you need to send your transcript you can come into guidance before school or during power hour to sign the transcript request book at the front desk. We can send transcript electronically to all Florida public schools. Any other school you will need to request a hard copy which are $2.00 each and mail them to the school you applied to.

I received an acceptance letter! Now What?
Send a copy of your acceptance letter/ to Mrs. Hoyos’ or drop a copy in her box outside her door so that you can receive your T-Shirt and be recognized on the Senior Wall. As acceptance letters are coming out and you are deciding on which college you would like to attend visit your final college choice before accepting their offer. Be sure to notify the college that you are planning to attend and pay any deposits they may require. Verify that you selected the school you are planning to attend on your FAFSA.

Senior Year Classes Make sure that you are keeping your grades up in your classes. Use Power Hour to visit with any teachers that you do not have an “A” in their class. Keep focused and working hard!

Senior Final Exams Make sure you are here for all of your exams.
Friday May 11th is graduation practice if you do not attend practice you will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony.

2/2 Cap and Gown Pictures 3/2 Rhodes Graduation will be on campus to take payments. 3/9 Senior Panoramic Picture 4/5 Rhodes will do the First delivery for Graduation Announcements 4/13 Rhodes will do the Second delivery for Graduation Announcements 5/2-5/4 Senior textbook return

Important Dates for Seniors cont.
5/7 Cap and Gowns will be delivered to the school 5/11 MANDATORY graduation practice and senior breakfast. This is also the last day for seniors. Seniors should be prepared to be here full day for graduation practice activities 5/23 Optional Baccalaureate Ceremony at 6:00PM 5/24 Graduation Ceremony

In order to walk at graduation
You must have: All of your books turned in All of your debts paid in full Completed the online senior survey and graduation agreement.

Walk out plan Write down a checklist for yourself of what you need to accomplish before the end of the school year.

Graduation 2018 Spring Facts/Prep Guide
A frequently asked questions list will be sent to your student accounts on Friday 1/11/2018 Please be on the look out for it as it contains all the information for graduation.
