1 Mrs. House’s Neighborhood January 23-27 2017 3rd Grade WEEKLY SKILLS
Dear Parents, We are learning so much every day in Third Grade. Your children have been exposed to many new ideas and they are growing so much. Many of the children have mastered their multiplication facts and are finding that it is very helpful to apply this to new skills, such as finding area. Some students are still behind. It is very important that they master this skill, as it is the foundation of many other math skills. Students who have not mastered all facts will be given extra practice assignments to be completed at home. We will continue learning about different cultures and states of matter. I think all the children are enjoying our novel and getting more comfortable with our reading centers. Thank you for your continued to support. Parent/Teacher conferences are right around the corner.
