3. Prof kicks a note-taker out of class
Professor reports that student never submitted accommodation letter
Professor reports that having a note-taker in the class is a safety risk
Professor says she cannot just “take my word” for the fact that the student has a disability and that the note-taker is an employee of the college
What steps would you take? What do you think you need to know at this point?

4. Student Wanting to Issue A Grievance Against a Prof
Student reports professor did not provide his accommodations
Student reports that he ed the professor, and much later adds that he gave prof a hard copy also
Student says he didn’t feel supported by faculty member and that faculty member was mean
Students mom says that the college knew the student had a disability and should have provided more support
All of these things go to the Dean of the Division, who then brings me into the conversation.
What would you want to know at this point?
