How to build a restricted and public access to the Interest group

The Goal You want to make available a space of a library for public (anonymous) «Restricted» Space (Only for members) «Public» Space (For anonymous)

The result : The space “Public” will be available for Anonymous,
The space “Restricted” will be available ONLY for members Anonymous Invited Members

Step 1: Create 2 spaces in the library
Restricted & Public

Step 2: Change the Access Profile
From Administration – Access profile

Step 2: Change the Access Profile
Enable the «Public» & «Registered» Access Change the permission for the Library to Access for «Guest» & «Regitered» profiles

Step 3 : Manage permissions
From the «Restricted» space click on Administration – Manage Permission

Cancel the inheritance In CIRCABC inheritance is by default enabled, which means that one space inherit permission from his parent.

Grant Access for « Access» profile

Feel free to grant access profiles for Author, Contributor, Reviewer and Secretary But NOT for Registered & Guest

«Restricted» space will be visible by «Access» profile

Now your Interest Group is ready.
