Securing an invitation to LESI to participate in a meeting on ADR and Mediation Advocacy from the User's Perspective at WIPO, Geneva (Sept. 6, 2010) Assistance to LES Benelux in the setting up the “LES Benelux meets the EU institutions” conference (12 October 2010)

5 Submissions : Response to the European Commission’s public consultation on the draft revised rules for the assessment of horizontal co-operation agreements under EU competition law (ip/10/489) – June 2010 (Erik Verbraeken, LES France; Melanie Vilarasau, Bird & Bird Brussels Response to the European Commission in response to the Public Consultation on the possible revision of the Tobacco Products Directive 2001/37/EC in co-operation with the Trademark Committee (December 17, 2010)

7 Future Projects Submitting paper to the European Commission in response to a call for observations regarding the enforcement op IP rights in Europe (in co-operation with other relevant Committee (s) Follow-up of the European legislative efforts to introduce a common language regime and a unitary patent system via the enhanced co-operation procedure

8 How can LESI help the European committee ?
With continued support and feedbackreceived on the above projects Clarify whether the EU entity that was under discussion will be set up or not. If so, define context and avoid duplication with the role of the EU Committee
