Market risk and sizing for a health care benefits and management company
The challenge Our client is a major player in the North American prescription benefits management (PBM) market. They came to us with a clear objective to better understand where they should explore expansion opportunities. The solution We created a data dashboard and country ranking model—a tool for understanding the business climate in countries our client was considering. A year later our client came back to us having determined which of the countries from the dashboard and ranking model they were interested in researching further. We were commissioned to provide analysis of the key companies that operate in this space as well as the legislation and regulatory background within these markets . The result Our client has a clear understanding of which countries offer the greatest opportunity for growth and what the barriers to entry are in each of these markets. They are also clear what regulatory challenges they will have, as well as who their competitors will be. This will be instrumental in informing their sales, marketing and PR strategy when they enter their chosen market. We continue to provide updates for the data dashboard and country ranking model, which allow for monitoring of new opportunities.
