Be mindful of your first reaction to assume the worst. Catch yourself (or ask a trusted friend or colleague to catch you) when you use negative language. Find your happy place. Don't believe everything you think. Lose the pessimists in your life.

Applying the 3 R’s to Stress Tolerance
When it comes to stress tolerance, it is important to recognize your own symptoms of anxiety or fatigue. When reading your environment, make a distinction between tasks that are urgent and those that are important, so you can prioritize accordingly. Respond to your rising stress levels by taking a self-imposed time out or negotiating for extended deadlines, additional resources, or a changed workload.
