2. How we started… Sep 2006: HB Walkers Action set up Two aims:
to encourage recreational walking, both for local people and visitors
to campaign for better facilities for walkers, including the adequate maintenance of existing footpaths/bridleways and the creation of new footpaths

Oct 2006: Town Council support.
Oct 2006 onwards: Rural parishes support
Nov 2006: first national press coverage
Nov 2006: work starts on waymarking
