A Note from the Teacher
What’s Happening in kindergarten?
Thank you for being committed to helping your child with reading, homework, and sight words! 
This week, we will work on the –op and –old word families. We will work on identifying important information and using picture clues in stories. Our theme this week will be “At the Pond.” In Math, we will be working on telling time, adding and subtraction, and creating and solving story problems. Thank you for your continued support! Have a great week!
PS—Feel free to send in spring sports schedules! I’d love to come watch! 
Classroom reminder
Please practice assigned sight words & spelling words each night. Writing sentences & math problems (addition and subtraction) are also great practice!
Dates to remember
Unit 9 Spelling test Friday
Sight Words (List C, Week 6) will be tested Thursday.
Field trip—May 9
Fit-A-Thon--May 10
Carnival—May 17
