10. GRADUATION – Need to Know
Wednesday, 5/29/2018
7:30 Challenger Columbia Stadium
Arrive at CBHS Competition Gym at 5:00 pm for line-up.
Parking on campus; use the front lot only
Collect cell phones
Everyone rides buses from Brook to stadium
Return is your decision. Ride back with the school bus or your family. Return buses are in parking lot behind visitor’s side.
Students who are returning on the bus need to not daudle and get back on the busses to return to Brook.

11. GRADUATION Need to Know
LADIES DRESS CODE
Shoes: dark; flats or wedges;
Dress/Skirt: dark color; must not extend below the gown
Jewelry: minimal

12. GRADUATION Need to Know
MEN’S DRESS CODE
Shirt: white dress shirt with collar
Slacks: black or dark blue (no jeans)
Tie: dark
Shoes: dark dress shoes
Socks: matching dark
Note – All grad gowns have a V-neck, so the color of the shirt and tie is important.

No tennis shoes, flip flops, shorts, jeans, or brightly colored clothing
No visible tattoos; cover them
No sunglasses

15. GRADUATION Expectations
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR OR BEHAVIOR NOT IN KEEPING WITH THE DIGNITY OF THE CEREMONY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND MAY WARRANT REMOVAL FROM THE CEREMONY.

Anything brought and confiscated will be available on 06/07/2019 at Brook’s main office.

17. MORE GRAD DAY Expectations
POSSESSION OR USE OF AIR HORNS, BELLS, WHISTLES, BEACH BALLS, MARBLES AND OTHER CREATIVE DISTRACTIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED (this includes family in the stands).

18. Rain Plan
In case of rain, there will be a revised game plan announced between noon and 2pm the day of graduation
TICKETS will be distributed at rehearsal; give them to your parents on that day

In Brook Competition Gym for line-up at 3:30 pm

L-Z from 8:30-9:30pm

It is the goal of the district to have the graduation at the stadium if at all possible.

19. Family Friends
The Graduation Commencement is a formal ceremony to recognize all students. Family and friends of all graduates look forward to hearing the announcements of their own student’s name. Please respect every family's right to hear their own graduates name. Leave noise makers at home and turn off cell phones, pagers and other electronic devices at the ceremony.
Live video streaming will be provided in the air conditioned CSHS Auditorium. Live video streaming is also available on the CCISD website ( for family and friends. The Communication Hotline (281)
Only graduates are permitted on the field.
Reunification area is behind the scoreboard.
The ceremony typically lasts 90 minutes.

Get all work due turned in promptly
Study extra hard for finals
Pay all fines & fees / turn in books & lap tops
Appeals for Credit:
turn in forms and complete any time owed
Be prompt to rehearsal and graduation line-up

21. Diplomas
Diploma will be available for pickup in July from the Registrar’s office.
All fines, detentions, books and other obligations must be cleared before receiving diplomas.
Copy of graduation program included.
ID required.
