Have you ever wondered? A man once said I keep asking God “how can you let this world be filled with injustice, allow people to hurt, allow poverty and hardship when you have all the resources to do something about it” His friend answered “so what did God say?” He asked me the same question. 7/16/2019 Copyright (c) 2001 Federation oif Parents & Friends

Scripture calls for Commitment
The most telling question Jesus asked his disciples was “so who do you say that I am?” This question disturbed them because whatever answer they gave implied that his followers must COMMIT their actions to their answer 7/16/2019 Copyright (c) 2001 Federation oif Parents & Friends

Enrolment is an act of commitment
The act of enrolling our child in a Catholic school comes after long considerations of many kinds. We take the decision in the belief that the school offers something unique to us and to our child. It then is a considered action which implies commitment to the School and the mission of Catholic Education. Church teaching suggests that Catholic education only makes sense if it means active commitment to the mission of the Church. 7/16/2019 Copyright (c) 2001 Federation oif Parents & Friends

Scripture calls us to action:
When passive, Our children often challenge us to “get a life”. The Gospels call us to do the same - “I have called you that you may have life and have it to the full” – John We are called to be part of life in a community, with both its rich rewards and its challenges – “it is not good for man to be alone” – Genesis Voluntary efforts aim to “do God’s will” as referred to in the Lord’s Prayer reference “thy will be done” – “fiat voluntas tua” – Mark 7/16/2019 Copyright (c) 2001 Federation oif Parents & Friends
