as the ‘midwife.’

but He did in natural ways
and in miraculous ways.

God provided morning rations of manna (bread from heaven) and evening supplies of quail for meat.
This daily provision did not happen on the 7th Day.

God uses this startling imagery of Himself as an eagle guiding Israel as an eaglet to fly away from the “nest” of Egypt because He has bigger & better plans for them.
