Model developments (already sent to Met Office)
A new CCN activation/regeneration scheme. a single prognostic variable to represent a lognormal aerosol distribution and Kohler theory to work out activation. Essentially as before but better. Added GET_FORCING From G Feingold. Calculates supersaturation over a timestep by considering both the microphysical sink/source terms and the dynamic source terms for up/downdrafts. The original model that I developed at Leeds only included the microphysical terms. Runs in 3D Required code changes Bin model in parallel Fixed bug in precip code Also other minor changes Results robust to optimisation and number of processors

Further developments Allow extreme inhomogeneous mixing.
Include Jeffery and Reisner evaporation limiters (more tessts required). Coupled the Edward-Slingo code with the bin-microphysics in the LEM. Working on a bin sedimentation scheme that uses the ULTIMATE advection scheme.
