1. Zanzibar trip

2. Zanzibar is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania in the continent of Africa. Zanzibar is composed of the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 25–50 kilometres (16–31 mi) off the coast of the mainland, and consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja (the main island, referred to informally as Zanzibar) and Pemba Island.

3. GETTING THERE AND WHEN TO GO
One passenger for a flight will be £ from London, Heathrow to Zanzibar, Kisauni via Dubai . There are four members of my family
£4 x £ = £ That’s a lot of saving to do!
The flight will take around 12 hours and we will go in July or August 2020 as that is the best weather, it’s near my birthday and it will be after our SATS!

4. My Mums friend gill lives in Zanzibar and is a dolphin expert that is why as well as going to the beach hopefully we will be able to come on a dolphin survey with her.

5. Mum also wants to go on safari on the mainland – here are Gill’s children Sarana and Leith on safari in Tanzania. Mum really wants to see the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti – when 1-2 million – YES MILLION! – wildebeest migrate in search of fresh grassland
