2.   INTRODUCTION
The Ice and Snow Festival has gone on for many years. It all started in and the war was going on so Harbin had to stop the holiday. In The Ice and Snow Festival got back on its feet and it has gone on.

3. BOTH THE ICE AND SNOW FESTIVAL
Every year Harbin has two special festivals that go on such as: The Ice Festival and The Snow Festival. So how does this festival work? The festival works like this, a couple of teams from all over the world start with a pack of ice and snow and start carving away. It is amazing to see all the sculptures people make every winter. You would think that The Ice and Snow Festival are together but they are actually separate! The Snow Festival is just a few miles away from The Ice Festival. The Snow Festival is mostly a display of art; The Ice Festival is mostly a display of architecture.

4. THE ICE FESTIVAL  
At The Ice Festival there are so many things to do such as: walking up a wall of solid ice, walking up a stairwell of solid ice with no handrail. People walk up a wall made of solid ice every year and over the years hardly anyone fell. The Ice Festival is nothing but dull and colorless. To get to where all the ice is there is a slide that you go on to get there.

5. THE SNOW FESTIVAL THE SNOW FESTIVAL PICTURE
There are fun things to do at The Snow Festival to, such as: building amazing sculptures! The Snow Festival is competitive. Every team starts with a block of snow and start carving away.
