… for Combustible Gas Detection S4000C Intelligent Sensors..
2
Model S4000C Features: Three Digit Display 4-20mA Output Dual Redundant MODBUS Communications Warning, Alarm & Fault Relays Calibration, Gas Check, Setup Modes Remaining Sensor Life Indication Sensor can be remote mounted up to 7,600ft. (2,316M)Benefits: Displays gas concentrations in %LEL, fault codes for troubleshooting and calibration prompts Industry standard output for remote alarm and fault indication Provides complete diagnostic status Provides local alarm capability Simplifies operation and maintenance Reduces downtime by providing heads- up on sensor life Increased installation flexibility

S4000C Key Features / Benefits Remaining Sensor Life The technician is able to determine when it is time to replace the sensor before it fails. The (%) remaining sensor life is displayed upon initiation of calibration. Surface Mount Electronics Allows for higher MTBF and reduces cost of purchase. Target Gas Calibration Allows you to set the gas detector to the specific (target) gas you want detected, but uses only one type of calibration gas. Easily upgrade your installed GMI Smart Sensors Backwards compatible with our Smart Sensors (Models S104/S106A) – no need to re-wire.
4
S4000C Key Features / Benefits Magnet A magnet is used for calibration prompts and to configure the relays and Modbus actions. This eliminates the cost of an expensive hand held device. Remote Mounting & Remote Calibration This allows for easy and fast remote calibration. Optional Outputs Standard 4-20 mA. 3- eight amp relays for Fault, Warn and Alarm. Dual Modbus for redundant digital communication and reduction of field wiring cost.
