Principle Components Fuel pump
-receives fuel from airframe boost pumps -increases fuel pressure for use at the engine -receives bypass fuel from fuel control Gas producer fuel control -regulates fuel pressure from pump -automatically schedules fuel from light off to idle -accelerates engine to operational speed -cuts off fuel flow to shut down engine Power turbine governor -monitors power turbine speed -receives power input signals from collective lever -resets fuel control schedule to adjust gas producer in order to maintain power turbine at constant speed Fuel nozzle -delivers scheduled fuel to combustion chamber

Input Parameters Gas producer fuel control
-fuel pressure from engine driven pump -gas producer turbine RPM -compressor discharge air pressure (Pc) -throttle position (twist grip) lever -power turbine governor reset pressures (Pr & Pg) -power turbine governor over-speed pressure (Py bleed) Power turbine governor -power turbine RPM -compressor discharge air pressure -power lever (collective) position Fuel nozzle -regulated fuel flow from fuel control
