Sacraments Sunday Mass: at Aliamanu Military Reservation Chapel (AMR) 1100 at Main Post Chapel, Schofield Barracks (MPC) Child care is available during Sunday Mass and Religious Education. Reconciliation: Reconciliation is available at AMR Sundays before Mass by Father Larry. There will be Reconciliation on 2nd and 4th Sundays after Mass by the presiding priest at MPC in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Please contact Fathers Yuen or Jason via if you wish for an appointment. Marriage: Please contact Fathers Yuen or Jason at least six months prior to anticipated date of wedding. Mandatory Pre-Cana classes are required. Baptism: Bi-monthly celebrations. Preparation class required. Please RSVP so we can be prepared for you to attend the class. Next MPC Baptism Class: June at 1830 Next AMR Baptism: July during Mass Next MPC Baptism: June at 1200 Upcoming Designated Offerings will be to 2 June and 7 July to the AMS. Registration is now open for our Catholic Religious Education program 2019/20, starting with an Open House on August 18. We will offer Sunday classes for children from Pre-K (4 years and up, 3-year-olds who are potty trained can participate if space is available) to Confirmation (8th grade and above). Adults who wish to receive Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation) can sign up at the same link: vbspro.events/p/catholic-re-2019 Please note that you have the option to sign up for either AMR or Schofield. We are also looking for volunteers to teach these classes. With our Baptism we have received the mission to make disciples, please consider that God might be calling you to do that right here in our community, working with the future of our Church! AMR Men’s Bible Study meets on the first Saturday of each month. Our next meeting is on 6 July at 0730 in the activity room. All men are welcome to join us for breakfast and faith formation! Pacific Club has a mission for adults who have a passion for working with teens. Our students would especially benefit from having Catholic voices speaking into their lives. Life Teen holds regular meetings on the 1st and 3rd Saturday at 1815 after the Saturday Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Community on JBPHH. The next World Wide Marriage Encounter weekend are is 30 Aug-1 Sep at the St. Anthony Retreat Center. WWME is faithful to the Roman Catholic Church’s teaching and will help you grow in a deeper relationship within your marriage. Community Announcements Religious Education Religious Education for the 2019/2020 school year will run from 25 August 2019 thru 10 May Classes are held weekly from at MPC from and at AMR from with various holidays and long weekends off. Any adult interested in learning more about the faith is welcome to join the Parent Faith Formation class once a month on Sunday. We are need of catechists for the upcoming school year. Please consider being a part of this important ministry of faith formation. We offer a monthly baptism preparation class for parents and God parents. It is on the fourth Tuesday of each month at MPC at 1830. Family Night programs will start in the Fall and be held Tuesdays at AMR and Wednesdays at MPC. Programs include dinner followed by religious education curriculum that will allow your family to grow and practice your faith together. We need volunteer support for all our faith formation programs. Please contact Ute Eble at for information on how you can help. First Communion will be 17 May 2020.
