For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

God as Father is often perceived on basis of one’s earthly father experience
God the Father is the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
As Christians we know how wonderful Jesus is
How wonderful His Father must be!

This is the greatness of God
We have family in heaven as well as earth
Angels are sons of God Job 1:6; 38:7; Luke 20:36 “in the heavenly places”
We manifest God’s wisdom to them 3:10
We are a part of God’s heavenly family 1:5,11-14; 2:12,19; 3:6

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might
God is rich in glory 1:7,18; 2:7; Col. 1:27-28 Rom. 9:23; 2:4
His glory is in everything that is His Ps. 19:1
He wants His glory to show in us 2 Cor. 3:18
Paul prays that we have God’s strength 1:19; Col. 1:11

Proof we belong to God “sealed”
God dwells in us in the Spirit “temple” 2:21
Dwells in you 1 Cor. 6:19; Rom. 8:26; Eph. 4:30

Holy Spirit given to us  He poured out God’s love in our hearts Rom. 5:5
Tells us of God’s love thru the cross Rom. 5:6-11
We believe His word about God’s love for us 1 John 4:16 then we love v.19

God wills all saints to know by experience the love of Christ

It does work
If it is not working, examine your faith 2 Cor. 13:5
