Entering Your ‘PIN’ Each device needs to be activated on the e-Voting system using a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which will be distributed with the keypad Enter your PIN and then press the [OK] key at the lower right of the keypad. You will receive a message from the central station acknowledging the entry If you entered the wrong PIN, press the garbage key at the lower left of the keypad to erase and start over with the correct PIN. When you are sure you’ve enter the correct PIN, enter [OK]

Keypad system (1) Voting and confirming your vote To Vote:
Warning: Ignore indications (Yes, No, Abst) above number pad To Vote: Enter your choice(s) e.g. [1][2][4] means a vote for 3 candidates in a vote corresponding to 3 numbers Digits keyed in should be equal to or less than the number of choices allowed keying in another number greater than the number of choices allowed has no effect, and this new digit will not appear on the screen If satisfied with your choice(s), Confirm by pressing [OK] Display will show „SENDING“ > „SENT“ > „RECEIVED“ Until you see message « RECEIVED », your vote is not counted Entering [0] and then [OK] will register vote as an abstention

Keypad system (2) Your can change your vote anytime BEFORE you press [OK] Press (« Garbage button» ) Enter your new choice(s) e.g. press [1][3][4] Confirm by pressing [OK] Once you have confirmed your vote, pressing a digit will have no effect – You can’t change your vote after you press [OK] If you Press [OK] again > Display will show « VOTE COMPLETE »

Helpful features Screen displays the selected digits
Pressing the digit a second time will have no effect Pressing “0” within a series of digits will have no effect Unused digit buttons will be deactivated Available choices will be shown on the screen (or printed) Simple majority
