Terrorist group currently at war with Russia, the U.S, France, and the United Kingdom, as well as other Middle Eastern countries.
Currently at war with Al-Qaeda
Known for its videos posted on Social Media sites
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is the founder of ISIS

4. Main Beliefs
They believe they are doing these things to achieve a Utopia.
The main leader of Isis today, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, believes he is fighting on behalf of all Muslims.
They wish to cleanse the world of those “against” Islam.
They believe killing those not for their “cause” is helping the world become a better and more beautiful place.

Both based off of Muslim beliefs
DIFFERENT
ISIS often is much more violent than Al-Qaeda is
Al-Qaeda focused on battles elsewhere, while ISIS focuses on battles on its home grounds

35.8% of the Middle East are illiterate...easy to manipulate
The U.S. continues to support the wrong people
