Please join us for South Pointe’s first ever College and Career Day!
South Pointe is in the process of organizing a College and Career Day for our 8th grade class.  The day will involve presentations from local universities, tech schools, community colleges and career professionals.  For our career presentations we are hoping to recruit some of our wonderful parents and community members to spend the day with our students and tell them all about their career.  Are you a beautician, plumber, doctor, lawyer, chef, performer, or do you have an unusual career?  Do you know someone who is?  We can’t wait to hear from them!
Date:  Friday, April 17th
Time:  9am—12:00pm
Our professionals will provide a 25 minute presentation sharing about their career, how they got there, what they love about it and what the job requires.  They will repeat this presentation twice throughout the day.  In order for the presentation to be a success the presenter must be engaging and enthusiastic about their work, also, it always helps to bring props or visual aids.  If you would like to a part of our College and Career Day,  please complete the form below by March 13th and return to Mr. Newman in the front office. .
