Point of View: There are 3 choices Who is telling the story?
1st Person: The main character is the narrator. Example: I went to the store. I bought a cat. It scratched me. 3rd Person Limited: (the dumb narrator) He is watching the story and is not a character in it. BUT, he can only tell you what happens-NOT how characters feel or think. Example: He went to the store. He bought a cat. The cat scratched him. 3rd Person Omniscient: All Knowing-mind reading narrator who is not in the story. Example: He went to the store. He felt lonely and thought, “I want a cat.” So he bought a cat for himself.
