This is a technology that has been around in HP for several years. I’ll give you a background on the history to show how scalable this technology really is. We currently have it in Officejet Prox 70ppm using HP Printhead technology.
Last year we launched PageWide Xl Product – high end technical production product with the PageWid eXL technology.
In the future we’ll launch HP Multijet fusion, 3D technology. This is due in at the end of the 2016.
HP Webjet Presses – 10 billion impressions made from this product alone.

The only non-mfp is the If we are pushing 30d’s a minute, let’s face it, that’s the fastest in the world and at that point, an environment should probably have a stand-alone HD scanner.

5000 & 8000 come with either a high capacity stacker. Up to 500 pages can be held here and done with capacity sensors that will let you know when it’s hit 500 sheets. Fully integrateable with the other models.
XL 8000 with high capacity stackers, 40” inch print bar, four color, PDF PostScript enabled with 750 mL inks. As you go down the line, the redundancy and size of cartridges decreases.
When one supply runs out, a hot swap takes place or auto switch so you can keep printing. This printer can hold up to 6 rolls of paper with three drawers.
8000 = Big brother and up to 6 rolls
XL 5000 – you get either top delivery stacker is gravity fed and holds 100 as opposed to the choice of the high capacity stacker holding 500 sheets. Or pay for the option to have both configured.

8000 needs 220 volt power
5000, 4500 and 4000 only need the standard plug at 110 volt. Plug this in to any outlet at your home and it work. (Energy consumption is a concern for many decision makers and this truly does not take a lot of energy.
4000 is only top delivery stacker with 8d’s a minute.
d’s per minute device only configured with top delivery stacker mL cartridges with no hot swap. When ink runs out your replace to keep printing same with 4000.
2 rolls in each and upgradeable to 4 rolls if you wish.
