Your account must have an address in order to send Message, or Text to students.

The center is required to have a “Center Address” to send Confirmation and Canceled appointment messages.

9 Messages Settings Before sending messages, you need to create the message types, and indicate which groups can send which types of messages. Messages are a way for you to manually send an to students through the Trac product. Messages can be sent to a particular student, or to an entire group of students.

10 Sending Messages One Student One or MORE students
Sends or message (not text sms). One or MORE students (double-check number of selected students!!!) Students Listing > List Options > Send HTML Note

11 Text Alerts Text Alerts allow you to :
Send appointment confirmation/cancellations via text. Remind Students/Consultants of their appointment by text shortly before the appointment time. Send a text to Students currently visiting your Center. Broadcast messages by text to Students who have “opted in”.

13 Opting-in to Text Alerts as a Student
Students can “opt in” to receiving text alerts from their main menu by sending a text to the address generated. Once Activated, Students can determine the amount of time prior to their appointment they want to receive the text alert.

14 Defaults for Text Alert Options
Set the default values for a student’s text alert opt-in options. The student can change the defaults.

15 Text Alert Activation Code – generated by admin
Administrators can also assist students looking to opt in to text alerts by generating the activation code on the student profile.

16 Text Alert Option from the Kiosk
Students are offered a Text Alert notification when a consultant is ready to see them.

17 Center Bulletins as Text Messages
Option 1: Students that have opted in to receive center bulletins can be texted when they visit a center.

18 Text a Group of Students
Broadcast a message to all students that have opted in to text messages. Select your group of students, and check-mark SMS Text. ALWAYS VERIFY NUMBER OF SELECTED STUDENTS!!!
