Typical Day at Taft 7:00 Wake Up
7:30 Hoppers report to the dining hall 8:00 Breakfast 9:00-12:00 Educational Activities 12:00 Hoppers report to the dining hall/others journal 12:30 Lunch 1:30-5:00 Educational Activities 5:00 Hoppers report to the dining hall/others journal 5:30 Dinner 6:30-9:00 Evening Activities 9:00 Snack 9:30-10:00 Lights Out

Make sure everything is clearly labeled with your child’s name!!
Suggested Clothing A Daily Change of… Long pants→ No capris or no shorts for outdoor wear Shirts Underwear Socks A pair of comfortable shoes and a pair of outdoor boots Warm jacket Snow pants Gloves and hat Raincoat or waterproof poncho Check the weather! Sleepwear Sweater or Sweatshirt Extra socks Shower shoes Optional swimsuit for showering Make sure everything is clearly labeled with your child’s name!!

Towel and washcloth Soap in a soapbox Shampoo Deodorant Toothbrush and toothpaste Comb or Brush

Other Supplies Pencils (at least 4) Personal book for quiet times
Small water bottle Backpack Watch Camera (optional) Color pencils and small sketchbook (optional) Garbage bag for wet items $2.00 for postcards (optional)

DO NOT BRING... MOBILE PHONES Smart Watches Handheld games or devices
Any electronics NO gum or extra food is allowed!

Student Expectations We expect that every student will cooperate with all staff members and students in a positive way. This means that they will follow all rules, and that they will respect the rights, feelings, and privacy of others. Each child is responsible for their own behavior and for the consequences of the behaviors they choose to exhibit at Taft.

Parent Responsibility
Parents are responsible for providing transportation home from Lorado Taft in the event of illness or if a child’s behavior warrants that consequences In the information packet, there is a behavior agreement that needs to be signed by both a parent and a student

Monday, March 11, 2019- Departure
Drop your child off at 8:15am Wednesday, March 13, Return Parents should pick up students at 2:00pm If your child is being picked up by another parent, you must turn in a note prior to March 8. Students may not ride the bus on either day due to their luggage.
