2. Why I am interested
I personally think that this would be a nice career because I love to help others and I would also keep criminals off the streets. It seems like it would keep me busy all the time which sounds pleasing to me.

3. School In order to qualify in becoming a police officer I have to-
Graduate High School
Get a degree in law enforcement
Graduate military school

4. Military School
This requirement takes seven hundred and twenty two hours and during this time I would be training with guns and hand to hand combat. I would also practice breaching houses and being trained on what to do in certain situations. Coming out of military school, I would be trained physically and mentally.

5. The Life of a Police Officer
The life of a police officer in certainly not very pleasing for everyone, which after research, I am not sure if I want to become a police officer. The reason is because you never know what kind of day you’re going to have and you might even see people dying. In order to be a police officer you have to literally expect the unexpected every single day.

6. The Life of a Police Officer Cont.
Another down side of being a police officer (at least for me) is that it is more of a lifestyle than a career. The reason for that is that if you see a civilian in danger or in need of something I can’t just ignore it, it would be my duty to help them. I honestly would rather have a regular nine to five job than do that.

7. Analysis
After all of my research with becoming a police officer I found that I actually do not want to become what I thought I wanted to become at first.
