1 OWS + SureView Integration

2 ENABLE SUREVIEW IN OWS From the Channel Partner Page (Orange Banner Bar) you will see a list of your customers. Click the MANAGE button to access the customer. From the Channel Partner Page (Orange Banner Bar) you will see a list of your customers. Choose “Manage” to access the customer.

3 ENABLE SUREVIEW IN OWS On the Manage Account screen, select SureView Integration From the manage account screen, select SureView Integration.

4 ENABLE SUREVIEW IN OWS On the SureView Setup Page, enter the IP Address and Port of the Sureview Server. To define the SMTP port, type a colon after the IP and enter the port. If you enter an IP address, without defining the port the system will default to port 25. Click Save. And then click Account to return to the previous menu From the SureView Setup Page, enter the IP Address and Port of the Sureview Server. If you simply enter an address, without defining the port the system will default to port 25. If the SMTP port is on an alternate port, just put a colon after the IP and then enter the port. Press Save when complete. Then click Account to return to the previous menu

6 SUREVIEW SETUP From the customer page, under Recorder Management, select Recorders Log into OWS and Select the Customer. From the customer page, select Recorder Management and Recorders

7 SUREVIEW SETUP Find the recorder and then click the EDIT button

8 SUREVIEW SETUP Click General Settings, then enter the Identifier captured during the SureView setup into the SureView Integration ID. Select Save. Click General Settings, then Enter the Identifier captured during the Sureview setup into the Sureview Integration ID. Select Save.

Once you have recorded the Device ID, Select “Cameras” under General Configuration. This will take you to the camera configuration page. 14 ASCERTAIN OPENEYE CAMERA IDs
From the Camera Settings Page, select a camera. You’ll see the integration ID listed. 15 CREATING ALERTS IN OWS Return to the Customer page and from the Alerts menu select Alert Rules. From the Customer page we visited previously, select Alerts and Alert Rules.

16 CREATING ALERTS IN OWS From the Alert Rules page, you’ll see the existing alerts. Click Add New rule which will launch the Alert Rules Wizard. From the Alert Rules page, you’ll see the existing alerts. Click Add New rule which will launch the Alert Rules Wizard.

19 CREATING ALERTS IN OWS This screen is where you define the rule and its timing sequences. This is also where you can elect to send the alert to SureView. Complete the Timeline and Motion Duration settings. Then select the Send to SureView check box and then click Save. Once named, you will be taken to the Rule definition portion of the alert. 20 Event Type Configuration In SureView
When OWS is configured to send alerts on Motion, it sends an alert both on Motion On and Motion Off. In order to save on storage space, you will want to configure a Motion Off event in SureView for every Motion On event, and set the Motion Off event to Auto Handle. 21 Event Type Configuration in Sureview
In your SureView account: Under System > Event Type Configuration, select OpenEye OWS. Then select the Auto Handle check box under Motion Off. Pre-Alarm settings should be set for at least 7 seconds. SureView video will begin 7 seconds prior to the triggering event, so you will want to set the number of seconds of pre- alarm recording to 7 seconds.
