YC Hertfordshire works with young people to provide youth work projects, information, advice, guidance and support.
YC Hertfordshire values personal and social development and designs opportunities to learn something new, develop existing talents, and find out about the important issues affecting you.
About you
You can keep a record of your experiences through involvement with this youth project by working with the staff team to complete an “outcomes star” and thinking about what else you would like to get involved with.
If you are committed to a particular activity or skill, or want to try something new or volunteer, talk to us about how this can be accredited. Keeping a portfolio of what you’ve achieved through your youth project may assist you at school, with further studies, or finding a job.

What to do in an emergency

If you discover a fire:
Shut the door on the fire where possible.
Activate the nearest fire alarm.
Call the Fire and Rescue Service on 999.
Leave the building straight away following the FIRE EXIT signs
If you have activated the fire alarm report this to the Worker in Charge.
DO NOT re-enter the building until authorised by the Fire and Rescue Service.
When evacuating the premises:
