Flujo Estático Response Time. Both sensors respond quickly to flow . they cool down quickly The spherical tip responds quicker to loss of flow or wet to dry condition. The wall of the spherical tip is in contact with just one side of the RTD (compared to all sides with the twin tip) this means less conductance and the temperature of the RTD increases faster.

Each sensor has unique heat transfer characteristics - thus each curve is different. Discuss hysteresis between alarm and reset. Depending upon sensor, a 2 times increase in flow may be required for the switch to reset
