The right panel shows endothelial nitric oxide synthase staining in a fertile control (top) and a patient with endometriosis (bottom). Both proteins were predominantly localized in the glandular and luminal epithelium. The patient with endometriosis showed more intense eNOS staining and less αvβ3 integrin staining compared with the fertile control.
