3 Fig 2 Nonocclusive thrombus in segmental pulmonary artery was scored as 1. Nonocclusive thrombi in more proximal pulmonary arteries were scored with numbers equal to those of segmental arteries supplied from those arteries. Maximum score was 18 for thrombus in main pulmonary artery. Score was doubled for occlusive thrombus. Maximal total score is 36 per patient.
