A healthy puppy should have the following developing teeth in the upper and lower jaw at the age of eight days: six incisors, two canines, four premolars and two molars. In the upper jaw of dog B (A1), two premolars are missing, the lower jaw (A2) has a full bite but with irregularly spaced teeth. Dog C has a full bite in both jaws and additional premolar in the lower jaw (B2). Dog D has two missing premolars in the upper jaw (C1) and three missing premolars in the lower jaw (C2).
