2 Procession Entry Information
The procession starts at Bingham Road playing fields or Gold Road at 1pm on 11th July 2015, and parades down Bingham Road onto Main Road and into The Grange. Entries are invited for the procession; this year’s theme is ‘Great moments in history’. Emphasis is on participation; prizes will be awarded for interpretation of the theme, effort and originality. There will be the following classes:- Bands Motorised vehicles, e.g. floats, vintage cars etc Walking groups Walking Float – walking group pulling or pushing a wheeled vehicle Please help us by sending in your entry early, first entry goes first in the group. No fees are required. Please give an idea of the nature of your entry; we will notify you if the idea has already been entered. Judging takes place both at the beginning and along the route. Trophies and certificates will be awarded in the arena at about 1.30pm. Each group must follow directions from the marshals and must provide at least one steward for security. Detailed instructions will be issued on receipt of the entry form, including a Health & Safety form, which must be fully completed and returned at least 7 days prior to the event.
