myASU course site

2. Step 1
Request an instructor account

3. Step 2
Request that your instructor volume is linked to a web address (URL)

4. Step 3 Upload your file and identify the direct link to your file:
Uploading files can be done via FTP or by mounting the instructor volume. See for details.
Once the file ahs been uploaded, you use the following method to determine the direct link to the file - Example:
Instructor volume URL :
File name: ivdemo.ppt
Direct link to uploaded file:

5. Step 4 a Adding a link to a web page:
You would use the following HTML code:
<A HREF=“ to view ivdemo.ppt</A>
NOTE: the text in blue can be anything you wish, and will be the link visible to the persons viewing your page.

6. Step 4 b Adding a link to your myASU course site:
You would identify the place in which you wish the link to appear, add an Item to that place, and paste this link:
The link will be clickable to your students.
