Municipality of Porto adhered to the WHO Network of Age-friendly Cities on the 1st of October 2010.
It was developed a diagnostic of the city, that evaluates eight areas regarding the wellbeing of the elderly.
Next Steps: develop an action plan to make the city more friendly to the elderly.

Fitting-out of buildings and improvement of the levels of mobility and healthiness of the elderly population’s houses who is in a situation of proven poverty.
