November 2005 JTC1 Chair’s Goals for Vancouver Report current status of JTC1 fast tracks 1N7903 and 1N7904 Identify volunteers to develop supporting materials for application to become registration authority Identify volunteers to develop additional comments for the 1N7903 and 1N7904 fast track ballots Identify volunteers to develop response to China’s Contradictions submission on 1N7903 (802.11i) Identify volunteers to create another outreach letter inviting China to join our process Identify volunteers to draft a PAR to harmonize 1N7904 with ma-REV Approve v8 Jesse Walker, Intel Corporation

November 2005 Accomplishments Current status of JTC1 fast tracks 1N7903 and 1N7904 reported Identified volunteers to develop supporting materials for application to become registration authority by January 2006 to develop additional comments for the 1N7903 and 1N7904 fast track ballots by January 2006 to develop response to China’s Contradictions submission on 1N7903 (802.11i) by March 2006 to create another outreach letter inviting China to join our process by March 2006 Revised v8 to v9 and sent to WG for adoption Submitted v0 to publish comments on 1N7904 and sent to WG and ExCom for approval The SC6 Study Group met but received no WLAN requirements from SC6, so adjourned Jesse Walker, Intel Corporation
