1 WWII Pyramids I can say where a period of history fits in on a timeline. I can place features of historical events and people from past societies and periods in a chronological framework. . I can place a specific event on a timeline by decade I can recognise and describe differences and similarities / changes and continuity between different periods of history. I can summarise the main events from a specific period in history, explaining the order in which key events happened. I can give an extended description of different places around the world. I can describe how some places are similar and others are different in relation to their physical features. I can summarise how Britain has a major influence on world history. I can place a specific event on a timeline by decade I can identify the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn as well as the Arctic and Antarctic circles. I can summarise what Britain may have learnt from other countries and civilisations through time gone by and more recently. I can recognise key symbols used on ordnance survey maps.
