1. Sixth Grade at J.J.C. Month of September 2016
All students must be dressed in proper uniforms daily Assessment testing is expected to be complete by 9/17/16.
Students will read a variety of narratives and books. The focus is character traits and order of events.
Students will begin with learning about negative and positive integers and how they appear on the number line.
For Social Studies, we will learn about various world cultures and geography. In Science we are learning about the Earth’s interior and surface.
Students will begin to read text closely to make inferences as well as cite information from the text.
Students can access MYON through Clever for minutes of reading each day.
